Description
The heavy duty gear-type chaff cutter with a conveyor belt and 3 HP motor is designed to prepare animal feed in a speedy and uniform way. A conveyor belt slowly pushes the material into the cutting chamber. The machine has a gear system built in for smooth, controlled operation.
Thanks to its four high-performance blades and 2800 RPM motor, the machine is able to cut through green grass, dry feed, straw, maize stalks and other farm debris. It is built of sturdy mild steel and is fitted with wheels, so it may be used routinely in dairy farms, gaushalas and livestock units.
How to Use
- Before using it, make sure the machine is on a firm, level surface and that it is locked or stable.
- The belt, blade box, guards, nuts, and bolts should all be checked.
- Connect the machine to a 220V single-phase power source that works.
- Turn on the motor and let it reach its normal speed.
- Make sure the feed is spread out properly on the belt.
- Feed the material slowly so that you don’t overwork the machine.
- Before you clean, turn it off and unplug it after use.
Do not place your hands in the cutting area or on the conveyor belt while the machine is running.
Blade and Cutting-Size Settings
It has four cutting blades and can cut items approximately 10 to 25 mm thick. The finished size of the fodder depends on the blade location, the feed rate, the type of material, and the moisture level.
To ensure it is safe:
- Turn off the power supply fully.
- Keep all the blades in a level and tight line.
- Set the blade clearance the maker recommends.
- Replace blades that are damaged, bent, or worn too much.
- The blades must be secured and sharpened by a qualified technician.
