Installation / Assembly Guide

3. Position the seedling tray and planting tool as indicated in the instructions that came with the kit.
4. Set the row spacing to achieve your desired distance between plantings.
5. Make sure the moving parts and planting fingers are working properly.
6. Before initial use, lubricate all moving joints.
7. Soft soil is good for a trial run before you begin full-field replanting.

How to Operate the Manual Rice Transplanter

1. Prepare the Seedlings
   • Use healthy rice seedlings of the proper length.
   • For seedlings, the optimum length is 15–40 cm.
   • Avoid using seedlings that have very long stems or excessively tangled roots
2. Prepare the Field
   • Ensure that the field is level.
   • Transplant when the soil is soft and damp.
3. Load Seedlings
   • Scatter seedlings on the seedling holder or tray.
   • Easy feeding is a sign that the seedlings are properly placed.
4. Adjust Settings
   • Select your required row spacing and planting depth.
5. Start Planting

Important Usage Note

For best performance:

• Choose seedlings with three to five stems.
• This machine may not be suitable for operating with seedlings that are too long (greater than 15 cm after tillering).
